The women's and men's squash teams of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU) returned from the Interuniversity Squash Championship in Turkey with awards.
The Interuniversity Squash Championship in Turkey, hosted by Ankara Gazi University on April 29-30, 2024, was organized by the Turkey University Sports Federation. Ten teams participated in the men's category and nine teams in the women's category. The women's squash team of Burdur MAKU finished the organization in second place, while the men's squash team achieved a great success by finishing third.
Congratulating the athletes for their success, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar said, “I congratulate our women's and men's teams who achieved second and third place in the Interuniversity Squash Championship held in Ankara, and I congratulate our athletes who made us proud by winning medals.”
