Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University continues to reap the rewards of its quality-focused efforts in education. With the decision of the Accreditation Board for Social, Human and Basic Sciences Undergraduate Programs (STARAK) dated 02.04.2025, our University's Bucak Zeliha Tolunay School of Applied Technology and Business Management's Department of Management Information Systems and the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences' Finance and Banking Program have been entitled to receive the STAR Accreditation Certificate.
The Department of Management Information Systems has been accredited for 2 years; the Finance and Banking Program has been accredited for 3 years.
STAR Accreditation and Rating Association (STAR) conducts evaluations in areas such as the educational quality of higher education programs, innovation, employment opportunities, and compliance with international standards. Both programs have been certified by STAR for their success in these areas.
Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar stated that the accreditations strengthen the institutional reputation of the university and congratulated all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the process.
