A seminar series guiding 2500 students from MAKÜ Career Development Center

The "Job Search Skills Seminar Series" organized in collaboration with Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Career Development Application and Research Center and Burdur İŞKUR Provincial Directorate was successfully completed.

The seminars held in many academic units in all districts and the central campus of our university reached over 2500 students by being implemented in 25 different units.

Within the scope of the seminars, students gained comprehensive information on important topics related to business life such as effective resume preparation, job search channels, employer expectations, interview techniques, body language, and communication. The trainings were conducted interactively and practically by Job and Career Counselor Nihan Yıldırım.

Speaking at the end of the event, Career Development Center Director Lecturer Gökhan Turan used the following expressions: “We reached over 2500 students with the Job Search Skills Seminar Series. I sincerely thank our unit career representative faculty members who ensured the successful realization of these events in every academic unit and contributed to the process with dedication. As the MAKÜ Career Development Center, we will continue to support our students' career planning with guiding and awareness-raising activities.”

A thank you plaque was presented to Nihan Yıldırım by Career Development Center Director Lecturer Gökhan Turan for her dedicated training throughout the seminar series,

and a gift was presented to İŞKUR Provincial Director Hüseyin Güngör for his continuous contribution to our university's collaboration.

The last session of the series was held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The seminar was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağrı Karakurum, Vice Dean and Unit Career Representative Assoc. Dr. Eren Kuter, Career Development Center Director Lecturer Gökhan Turan, Burdur Employment and Labor Agency Provincial Director Hüseyin Güngör, Career Development Center Deputy Directors Dr. Lecturer Member Muhammed Masum Gülcemal, Lecturer Alp Yanık, and from the Career Development Center Lecturer Dilara Nihal Çarıkçı Özgül and Lecturer Fatih Gündoğdu. 

The program ended with a group photo shoot.
