International cooperation between MAKÜ and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy is strengthening

Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), Prof. Dr. Dursun Köse, visited the University of World Economy and Diplomacy and made significant contacts within the scope of the cooperation and student exchange protocol signed between the two institutions.
The visit was of great importance in terms of deepening academic cooperation between the two universities and increasing mutual experience sharing. The discussions focused particularly on key areas of cooperation such as student exchange programs, joint scientific projects, and teacher training programs. Participants emphasized that gaining international experience greatly contributes to students' individual development and the quality of education.
As part of the visit, Prof. Dr. Köse also organized a field trip for JIDU students and academic high school students at the MAKÜ campus in Burdur. During this trip, students were informed about the university's teaching and research laboratories as well as the infrastructure facilities supporting the learning processes.
During the visit, it was also planned to organize joint events such as seminars, conferences, and cultural exchange programs themed around sustainable development, and an agreement was reached on working together and making joint applications in ERASMUS+ projects.
These contacts are expected to contribute to the internationalization vision of both institutions, paving the way for new opportunities for students and academics.
