Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar represented our university and Burdur at two important events held in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
Historic participation in a historic opening
The opening of the TRNC Presidential Complex was recorded as a historic day for Turkey and the TRNC. The opening ceremony was attended by many statesmen, including the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, TRNC President Ersin Tatar, and Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş.
MAKÜ and Burdur spirit at TEKNOFEST
Referring to the technology mobilization led by Baykar Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar, who also holds an honorary doctorate from MAKÜ, Rector Dalgar strongly expressed that both the university and Burdur are part of this development initiative with the words, “In this journey, MAKÜ is there, Burdur is there, and the sweat of the brow and mind of Anatolia is there!”
“The future will belong to the producers!”
In his message published on social media, Rector Dalgar called on young people to think production-oriented by using the expressions “The future will belong to the producers!”
