1,184 students from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University's schools in Gölhisar District tossed their caps, Kıraç performed
Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Gölhisar School of Applied Sciences, Gölhisar Vocational School, and Gölhisar Health Services Vocational School bid farewell to their graduates with an enthusiastic ceremony.
First, protocol speeches were made at the ceremony. Then, the top students took the stage to make their speeches and nailed their names to the age log. In the excitement-filled ceremony, the graduating students tossed their caps and fully enjoyed their graduation joy.
Honor Certificate for Ayberk and his mother
Ayberk Korkmaz, a student of the Finance Program at Gölhisar Vocational School, who has special needs, received an honor certificate from Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar. Rector Dalgar congratulated both Ayberk and his mother, who supported him throughout his education process, bringing him to and from school every day. Emphasizing that Ayberk's determination in school life and his mother's sacrifice are commendable, Rector Dalgar expressed his belief that Ayberk will be successful in his post-graduation life as well and presented the honor certificate.

Speaking at the ceremony, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar stated that this year 1,184 students graduated and that the university has graduated more than 15,000 students to date. In his speech, Dalgar expressed that they have established an ecosystem to support the multifaceted personal development of students, emphasizing that Gölhisar is a student-friendly district.
In his speech, Dalgar stated that graduation is not just a title but also imposes greater responsibilities towards society. Saying, "Having a good profession is of course important, but being a beneficial individual to society is much more valuable," Dalgar conveyed that the university will not sever ties with its graduates and will continue to contribute to their continuous development with "micro-qualification" programs.
The ceremony held at Gölhisar Millet Bahçesi was attended by Burdur Members of Parliament Adem Korkmaz, Mustafa Oğuz, and İzzet Akbulut, MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar and his team, Gölhisar District Governor Emre Çiftçi, Mayor İbrahim Sertbaş, AK Party Provincial Chairman Mustafa Özboyacı, academicians, school principals, students, and their families.
