Graduation ceremony for institutes is being held for the first time at MAKÜ
Speaking at the ceremony, MAKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar stated that for the first time, they are organizing a graduation ceremony for institutes as a university, and said that this practice holds great importance in an institutional sense. Rector Dalgar expressed that postgraduate education contributes to the scientific production capacity of universities, and for this reason, they continue to strengthen this area both in terms of quality and quantity.
Dalgar underlined that individuals graduating from master's and doctoral programs should contribute more to society with the titles of 'science specialist' and 'doctor', saying, “These honorable titles impose a responsibility to produce more, think, and contribute to society.”
Dalgar conveyed that the university will continue to provide support with a lifelong learning approach without severing ties with graduates, announcing that they have initiated micro-qualification studies in postgraduate programs and that graduates can also be involved in these processes.
Dalgar stated that in today's world where information changes rapidly, constant updating is inevitable, and asked graduates to be involved in this process and continue their academic journey.
The graduation ceremony held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall was attended by the university administration, academicians, graduate students, and their families. At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were presented to the top-ranking students by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar.
