MAKÜ, strengthened international collaborations at the 35th European Association for International Education Conference

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), in line with its internationalization goals, took part in another significant event. Under the umbrella of the “Study in Türkiye” platform coordinated by the Turkish National Agency, MAKÜ was represented by Rector Advisor Prof. Dr. Dursun Köse and International Relations Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ömer Gürkan Dilek at the 35th European Association for International Education (EAIE) Conference and Education Fair held in Gothenburg, Sweden, with the participation of 92 universities from Turkey.

During the conference, the MAKÜ delegation held meetings with university representatives from different countries around the world; they took concrete steps on bilateral collaborations, student and academic exchange, and joint research projects. These meetings contributed to MAKÜ becoming more visible on a global scale and expanding its international network.

Within the scope of the event, President of the Turkish National Agency İlker Astarcı visited the MAKÜ promotional stand, wishing success to our university representatives and expressing his wishes for ease in their work.

Thus, MAKÜ had the opportunity to closely follow current developments in the field of international education while also taking strong steps towards the future with new partnerships.
