MAKÜ academician returned from Growtech Agriculture Fair with third place

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Arts and Sciences Faculty Member and co-founder of Algaemade Biotechnology company, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Füsun Akgül, achieved significant success at the Growtech Agriculture Fair, where the pulse of agricultural technologies beats.

Operating under MAKÜ BAKA Technopark, Algaemade Biotechnology attracted attention by participating in the TechGreen DemoDay event organized by Antalya Technopark, competing in the platform where agricultural innovations are contested. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Akgül, with her presentation titled “Solution to Drought: AlgaeBeads,” explained the agricultural solutions of the future at the event and was awarded third place as a result of the jury evaluation.

Akgül and her team, who transform their scientific studies into innovative products and technologies, once again proved that they are among Turkey’s rising ventures in the field of agricultural technologies with this award they received.
