MAKÜ, continues its rise in the GreenMetric World Ranking

Energy efficiency, environmental management, and sustainable campus efforts have elevated Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in the world rankings.

Our university in the 2025 GreenMetric World Ranking:

Worldwide: Ranked 778th among 1,721 universities,

In Turkey: Ranked 83rd among 142 universities,

achieving significant success compared to the previous year.

We increased our total score from 5,235 in 2024 to 5,985 in 2025.

Energy and Climate Actions: 760 points

Waste Management: 1100 points

Water Management: 863 points

Transportation: 1413 points

Education and Research: 1065 points

The GreenMetric ranking is an international platform that evaluates universities' sustainability policies, eco-friendly practices, and performance in areas such as energy efficiency and climate actions.
