The Inter-University Muay Thai Turkey Championship has ended

The Inter-University Muay Thai Turkey Championship successfully concluded, hosted by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University. 280 athletes from all over Turkey entered the ring for the championship fight.

In the organization held at MAKÜ Sports Facilities between February 14-16, with the participation of 61 universities, female and male athletes competed. At the end of the competitions, which were the scene of great excitement for three days, the athletes and teams that ranked were awarded with trophies and medals.

Turkey Championship from MAKÜ

In the UNILIG Muay Thai Turkey Championship, championships also came from MAKÜ. Yaren İpek from Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University became the Turkey Champion in 67 kg, while Ismayıl Aliyev became the 2nd in Turkey.

The UNILIG Muay Thai Turkey Championship WAI KRU MAKÜ Women's Team became the Turkey Champion and earned the right to represent our country and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in Brazil.

Athletes who ranked will represent our country in Brazil

Athletes who achieved ranking in the tournament earned the right to represent Turkey in the international arena at the World Muay Thai Championship, which will be held in Brazil this year. The Unilig Muay Thai Turkey Championship contributed to the development of university sports and also provided an important ground for preparing national athletes for the international arena.
