A cooperation protocol for "Specialization Academy" was signed between MAKÜ and TÜGVA

A cooperation protocol was signed between the Türkiye Gençlik Vakfı (TÜGVA) and Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) within the scope of the "İhtisas Akademi" program conducted in 81 provinces.

The signing ceremony held at the MAKÜ Rectorate was attended by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, TÜGVA Provincial President Abdülkadir Çiçek, and university and foundation administrators. With the ceremony, the two institutions took an official step for joint efforts that will contribute to the academic, social, and cultural development of university students.

Within the framework of the signed protocol; it is aimed to jointly carry out the planning, implementation, and coordination of educational activities. Within the scope of the program, it is intended for students to participate in courses and seminars given by experts in their fields, to support their academic and intellectual development, and to actively take part in the processes of producing projects and creating academic outputs.

The "İhtisas Akademi" program stands out as a continuity-based education model aiming to train young people who are knowledgeable about current issues of the age, have developed institutional and conceptual awareness, and are sensitive to national and international developments. The program is conducted with a hybrid system that includes both face-to-face education and online applications.

The university administration emphasized that this cooperation will make significant contributions to the personal, academic, and professional development of students, while stating that the planned activities between the parties will continue in the long term in line with the principle of sustainability.
