The Inter-University Arm Wrestling Turkey Championship, organized under the hosting of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, concluded after three days of competitive matches. The event, which saw participation from athletes coming from different provinces of Turkey, was a scene of great excitement.
Held between March 4-6 at MAKÜ Sports Facilities, the championship saw participation from 240 athletes from 59 universities across Turkey. In the tournament where female and male athletes competed fiercely, the athletes strived to achieve rankings both individually and in team standings.
After the matches that continued for three days, the athletes and teams that ranked were awarded with trophies and medals in a ceremony.
In the team standings for men, Gazi University became the champion, while Pamukkale University took second place, and Marmara University came in third.
In the women's team standings, the championship went to Gümüşhane University, with Pamukkale University in second place and Ondokuz Mayıs University in third.
The Inter-University Arm Wrestling Turkey Championship concluded with the performances and sportsmanship displayed by the athletes, and the organization was highly appreciated by participants and spectators.
