A cooperation protocol covering education, research and development, projects, laboratory usage, and scientific activities was signed between Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) and Bucak Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian High School.
Within the framework of the signed protocol, the two institutions will work together in various fields to increase the practical training opportunities for students, conduct joint scientific studies, and strengthen the educational infrastructure.
According to the protocol, MAKÜ will provide academic consultancy for the establishment of workshops and laboratories planned by the high school, and will open university laboratories and workshops to high school students based on availability. Additionally, courses and seminars will be organized by university faculty members in areas where needed.
As part of the cooperation, the joint preparation and execution of national and international projects is also targeted. While university academics and high school teachers will conduct joint classes, seminars, and applications, activities that will provide scientific, social, and community contributions will also be carried out collaboratively.
Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian High School will prepare the physical infrastructure for the workshops and laboratories to be established, ensure their sustainable operation, and actively participate in the work by forming project teams. Additionally, determining the teachers and students who will participate in the seminars and ensuring occupational health and safety conditions will also be among the responsibilities of the high school.
The cooperation protocol was signed by Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Bucak Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian High School Founder Mehmet Cadıl, and Bucak Mehmet Cadıl Anatolian High School Principal Hüseyin Kahraman, and came into effect. This cooperation aims to strengthen university-high school collaborations, increase students' academic and practical training opportunities, and promote a project culture.
