Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Discussed for Jaw Joint Problems at MAKU

An event titled "Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in Temporomandibular (jaw) Joint" was organized within the scope of "MAKU Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Career Activities" regularly carried out by the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University.

The event, where Dr. Instructor Mücahit Öztop was the moderator and Specialist Physiotherapist Burak Karagöz was the speaker, was attended by faculty members and students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Faculty of Dentistry, and Vocational School of Health Services, as well as numerous physiotherapists.

In the event, common jaw joint problems, the place and importance of physiotherapy and rehabilitation practices in these problems, and the multidisciplinary approach to be applied to patients were discussed. Specialist Physiotherapist Burak Karagöz shared his knowledge and experiences for physiotherapy students and physiotherapists considering a career in the field of physiotherapy in jaw joint problems.

The event continued in the form of a discussion with the questions, suggestions, and contributions of the participants. It ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a gift by the Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Tomruk and Dr. Instructor Mücahit Öztop.
