Mistakes Made in the Life Saving Chain at MAKU were Discussed

A conference on "Mistakes Made in the Life Saving Chain" was held by the Health Services Vocational School of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKU).

The conference titled "Mistakes Made in the Life Saving Chain", which is the third of the conference series organized to increase the professional equipment of the students and to be able to follow the current developments in the field of health services, was held at the MAKU Conference and Exhibition Hall.

The conference, which started with the opening speech of the Director of Burdur Health Services Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mümin Polat, continued with the presentations of Emergency Medicine Specialist and First Aid Trainer Dr. Mustafa Yorgancı.  

At the conference, which was held with the intense participation of students from the Burdur Health Services Vocational School, Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Health Sciences, the importance of first aid interventions made to patients, especially in emergency situations, was conveyed. Dr. Mustafa Yorgancı, who also mentioned the importance of 112 Emergency Health Services, especially where the life-saving chain is broken, when to perform cardiac massage and gave detailed information about important heart rhythms.

At the end of the conference, where the students listened with interest and had the opportunity to share information, a certificate of appreciation and a memento were presented to Dr. Mustafa Yorgancı by the Director of Burdur Health Services Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mümin Polat.
