A conference on 'What is Hippotherapy?' was organized in cooperation with the Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Equestrian and Hippotherapy Education Application and Research Center and the MAKÜ Equestrian Sports Community.
The conference, which was held in the Veterinary Faculty Conference Hall, was attended by many academics and students, including the Dean of the Veterinary Faculty, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Çağrı Karakurum.
Prof. Dr. Şima Şahinduran, the Director of the Equestrian and Hippotherapy Education Application and Research Center, who made the opening speech of the conference, emphasized that detailed information about hippotherapy will be learned with the conference and thanked everyone who attended.
The program continued with the presentation of Burak Yeter, FEI Level 1 Professional Riding Coach. Yeter shared information about hippotherapy with the participants.
