Rector Dalgar, Conducted Investigations in Kremna Ancient City

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar visited the ancient city of Kremna, located within the borders of Bucak Çamlık Village, where excavation works are ongoing by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and MAKÜ.

Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, received information about the excavation works carried out under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ayça Polat Becks, a faculty member of the MAKÜ Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Archaeology, and made examinations.

Touring all parts of the ancient city and learning the details of the excavation works, Rector Dalgar said, “We received information about the excavation works that will provide very important gains to our province in terms of archaeological tourism. I would like to thank our Excavation President Prof. Dr. Ayça Polat Becks and all her team for their dedicated work.”
