MAKÜ Athlete Sena Nur Büyük Became the Owner of the Gold Medal

Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Youth Sports Club Judo team athlete National Athlete Sena Nur Büyük won a gold medal by finishing first in the individual competitions in the 48 kg category at the Umitler Balkan Judo Championship held in Kruševo, North Macedonia.

With her achievement, the national athlete, who made both MAKÜ and Burdur proud, also finished third in the mixed team competitions of the Turkish Judo National Team at the Balkan Championship after the individual competitions.

MAKÜ Sports Club President Dr. Öğr. Member Mustafa Kılınç congratulated National Athlete Sena Nur Büyük, stating that her consecutive successes made them proud. He also thanked the coaches Türkan and Süleyman Görken.

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar also congratulated National Athlete Sena Nur Büyük, emphasizing the importance MAKÜ places on both MAKÜ Sports and all teams and athletes of the city within the available means.
