YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar first visited Yeşilova İsmail Akın Tourism Vocational School, which is one of the most concrete examples of the applied education approach, and Lavanta Tepesi Hotel Salda. Receiving information about the hotel, which is a unique example of fully applied education, from Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, Özvar met with the students of the culinary department studying here.
Özvar Visited Kibyra Ancient City
YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar continued his visit with the Kibyra Ancient City Excavation Presidency located in Gölhisar district. Prof. Dr. Özvar and the accompanying delegation received information from the Excavation President, MAKÜ Archaeology Department faculty member Assoc. Dr. Şükrü Özüdoğru, about both the excavation works of Kibyra Ancient City and the 2,000-year-old monumental fountain that was recently restored.
YÖK President Özvar Visited MAKÜ Farm
YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar then visited the MAKÜ Dairy Technologies Research and Development Center Laboratory located in MAKÜ İstiklal Campus. Visiting the MAKÜ farm and receiving information from the project managers about the university's regional development projects, Prof. Dr. Özvar was introduced to the Honamlı Breed at the small ruminant farm and was gifted a kid.

YÖK President Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar concluded his visits at MAKÜ with a courtesy visit to Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, who was recently appointed as the Rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. During the visit, which took place in the office, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar wished success to Rector Dalgar and his management team in their new duties. Later, Prof. Dr. Özvar, who also signed the guestbook, was presented with a handmade cura by Rector Dalgar, expressing his satisfaction with the visit.
