Super League Teams Will Prepare for the New Season at MAKÜ Facilities

Super League teams, in order to spend their camp periods before the new season, have also chosen Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) this year. Antalyaspor and Istanbul Başakşehir Football Teams will spend their pre-season preparations at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center.
The MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center, which was brought to life with the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and has hosted many athletes since its establishment, will continue to host professional athletes and teams from many sports disciplines at national and international levels, especially Turkey's leading super league teams, this year as well.
Antalyaspor from the super league teams will start camping at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center on July 4th, while Istanbul Başakşehir will start on July 10th. Antalyaspor will carry out its activities at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center for 10 days under the management of Head Coach Nuri Şahin. Similarly, the Istanbul Başakşehir team will continue its new season preparations at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center for 16 days under the management of Head Coach Emre Belözoğlu.
With its open and closed modern training fields, fitness centers, athlete health and performance center, swimming pools, five-star Lavanta Tepesi Hotel, and İstiklal Stadium with a capacity of 15 thousand people, designed for Super League teams to make their pre-season preparations in the best way possible, the MAKÜ Sports Camp Center makes Burdur one of the important cities of sports and athletes. In addition, these facilities offer practical training opportunities to many students from different branches.
