Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Turkish Folk Music Ensemble was a guest on the live broadcast "Zamâne" program on TRT Music.
Every Thursday, on the live broadcast on TRT Music screens, and with the artist Uğur Önür's kabak kemane and Umut Sülünoğlu's bağlama performing Anatolian melodies, the "Zamâne" program featured the MAKÜ Turkish Folk Music Ensemble under the leadership of Lecturer Gökhan Çağırgan on June 8 at 20:00.
In the evening where pieces from the "Forgotten Burdur Folk Songs" album, prepared under the MAKÜ Turkish Folklore Application and Research Center and conducted by Lecturer Gökhan Çağırgan, were also performed, beautiful solo and duet works were executed. In the program, which was also attended by former deputies Bayram Özçelik and Ramazan Kerim Özkan, the MAKÜ Turkish Folk Music Ensemble artists, including music teacher and kaval artist Deniz Yıldız, a graduate of the MAKÜ Music Teaching Department, performed pieces from the Burdur region under the leadership of Lecturer Gökhan Çağırgan.
The repeat broadcast of the Zamâne program's June 8 episode will be aired on TRT Music channel on Sunday, June 11 at 11:45 and on Tuesday, June 13 at 22:15.
