Training on UMKE and In-Vehicle Ambulance Equipment Provided to MAKÜ Students

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Health Sciences Emergency Aid and Disaster Management and Burdur Provincial Health Directorate in collaboration with expert personnel on May 30 "UMKE and In-Ambulance Vehicle Introduction" training was organized.

With the training coordinated by Emergency Aid and Disaster Management Department Vice President Dr. Öğr. Üyesi Gülhan Şen, it is aimed to increase the professional application-oriented knowledge and experience of 4th-year students who continue their face-to-face education.

Theoretical and practical training on Ambulance and UMKE In-Vehicle Introduction, Radio Usage, Incident Command System, Stretcher Usage, Patient/Injured Transport Techniques, Intervention to Trauma Patients, Disaster Triage were carried out by personnel affiliated with Burdur Provincial Health Directorate and the department's teaching staff with the participation of department students.

In addition to increasing students' practical and field experiences, the training aimed at improving inter-institutional coordination and cooperation is repeated periodically.
