Burdur Governorship tarafından düzenlenen Turkish Cuisine Week etkinliklerine Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar da katıldı.
Under the auspices of the Presidency and in coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the program celebrated as Turkish Cuisine Week between May 21-27 in domestic and overseas representations, started with a march from Burdur Cumhuriyet Square accompanied by Mehteran. The program, which continued at Baki Bey Mansion, was attended by Burdur Governor Ali Arslantaş, MAKÜ Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar, as well as provincial protocol and citizens.
Within the scope of the program, local flavors such as Gölhisar kavurma, keşkek, yufka, düğülcük dessert, Burdur biscuit, tarhana, water pastry, Toros nomad pita, göce, leech soup (sakal çarpan) were offered.
The program ended with a music recital performed by MAKÜ Turkish Music State Conservatory students under the leadership of Dr. Lecturer Alper Börekçi and a tour of Baki Bey Mansion.
