Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Athlete Training and Camp Center has hosted camps for nearly 80 teams and around 3,000 professional and national athletes in various categories and branches both nationally and internationally since its establishment.
In our country, MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center, which has made a name for itself by hosting pre-season camps of super league teams such as Başakşehir, Alanyaspor, and Antalyaspor in the football branch, also hosts camps for sports branches such as basketball, volleyball, wrestling, judo, and taekwondo.
At the international level, many teams from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Russia, and Saudi Arabia have camped at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center, while at the national team level, the Ukrainian men's basketball team, Turkey's young national judo teams, and Turkey's national rugby teams have camped.
The center is now hosting the Uzbekistan Taekwondo national team. The Uzbekistan Taekwondo National Team will continue their camps at the MAKÜ Athlete Training and Camp Center with a group of 45 athletes for a month.
