MAKÜ Oral and Dental Health Hospital Starts Accepting Patients in May

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Dentistry established within the Oral and Dental Health Hospital's patient admission application has been concluded. The license granted by the Ministry of Health was delivered by Burdur Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Sırrı Şenbayram.
In the 2021-2022 academic year, MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry, which started its educational activities in a temporary building, will start education in its new building completed in Burdur Center and will also start examinations with the delivery of the license.
The license delivery ceremony held in the Rectorate office was attended by Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar, Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Sırrı Şenbayram, Provincial Health Directorate Health Services President Dr. Zafer Demir, Deputy President of Health Services Osman Çelik, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar and Prof. Dr. Ömer Tekşen, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Ali Alp Sağlam, Rector's Advisor Dr. Lecturer Member Mustafa Kılınç and General Secretary Ali Nihat Gündüzalp.
With the delivery of the Oral and Dental Health Hospital license to Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Durmuş Acar by Provincial Health Director Specialist Dr. Sırrı Şenbayram, the Faculty of Dentistry has officially gained the status of a hospital.
In the permanent building with a closed area of approximately 17,500 square meters, equipped with the latest technological machinery and equipment, and with a sufficient number of well-equipped faculty members, MAKÜ Faculty of Dentistry, which continues its path with confident steps to become a distinguished faculty, will start accepting patients in May with the delivery of the license.
At the license delivery ceremony, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Acar thanked all those involved through Şenbayram for their contributions during this process, saying, "May it be beneficial for Burdur." The ceremony ended with Acting Rector Acar presenting a plaque to Director Şenbayram.
