Certificate of Appreciation to MAKÜ Personnel Returning from the Earthquake Zone

After the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş and affecting 11 provinces, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), which took action to heal the wounds, offered soup and meals to the earthquake victims with the Soup Kitchen it established in Hatay's Antakya district.

The MAKÜ soup kitchen staff, who worked intensively throughout the day to prepare and distribute the meals offered to the earthquake victims, returned to their duties at the university. In this context, a thank-you dinner was organized for the soup kitchen staff.

General Secretary Ali Nihat Gündüzalp, Deputy General Secretary Mesut Türkmen, department heads, and directors attended the thank-you dinner held at Avşar Han.

Stating that great pains were experienced, General Secretary Ali Nihat Gündüzalp said, “As the MAKÜ family, we wanted to be with the earthquake victims. Everyone mobilized for this. As university staff, you also worked and made efforts in those regions with dedication. We thank you all for your efforts.”

After the speeches, thank-you certificates were given to the soup kitchen staff, and lunch was served.
