Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Education, Women's and Family Studies Application and Research Center, and Psychological Counseling and Guidance Application and Research Center (PDR-MER) collaborated to organize activities to prevent and combat violence.
In the events held at Avşarhan, third-year students of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Department exhibited boards, posters, and other visuals on combating different dimensions of violence such as child violence, animal violence, violence against women, dating violence, and virtual violence.
In the events where students from the Faculty of Education Music Education Department also performed music, a stand was opened by the Burdur Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services' Violence Prevention and Monitoring Center (ŞÖNİM). ŞÖNİM officials provided information on combating violence against women. Additionally, officials from the Burdur Provincial Police Department introduced the Women's Support Application (KADES).
