Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Arts and Design organized Table Tennis Tournament has been completed.
Showing the importance it gives to sports and athletes in every field, MAKÜ also supports the tournaments organized by the students. While every field of sports is present at MAKÜ, students had a pleasant time with the Table Tennis Tournament organized at the Faculty of Arts and Design.
Organized for the first time at the Faculty of Arts and Design and lasting approximately 2 weeks, 18 people participated in the tournaments. Awards were given to the winners at a ceremony attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, following the first round, quarter-final, and semi-final matches.
The winner of the tournament was Abdullah Esen. Buğra Şahin came in second, and Burak Aslan came in third. The award for the first place was given by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Karaca, the award for the second place was given by the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Design Prof. Dr. Serdar Tuna, and the award for the third place was given by the tournament coordinator Dr. Lecturer Vedat Güntay.
