Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Japanese Art and Culture Community students met with MAKÜ Kindergarten students.

Wearing a kimono, a traditional Japanese outfit, the Japanese Art and Culture Community students came to MAKÜ Kindergarten and taught origami, an art form belonging to Japanese culture, to the little students. Araş. Gör. Penpe Yüksel, who stated that they enjoyed the event they held at MAKÜ Kindergarten, expressed that they chose such a world-famous cultural event to develop the children's paper folding skills and fine motor skills, and that the little students were very happy and had a lot of fun.

Stating that they are considering continuing such events in Burdur city center and village schools, Yüksel said, “We organized such an event to increase the socialization of students, to develop their ability to do activities together, and to promote Japanese culture, and more of these events will follow.”
