Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Faculty of Education Social Studies Teaching Department organized a “We Eat Healthy” event.
Under the guidance of Dr. Lecturer Feride Ersoy, one of the faculty members of the MAKÜ Faculty of Education Social Studies Teaching Department, the first event titled "We Eat Healthy!" was held with the participation of Specialist Dietitian Osman Çakır within the scope of the "Developing Youth Seminars".
Specialist Dietitian Osman Çakır provided information on adequate, balanced, and healthy nutrition, cooking food in a health-appropriate manner, using existing food resources economically and according to health rules, obesity, and youth nutrition.
A certificate of appreciation was presented to Çakır by the Head of the Social Studies Teaching Department, Prof. Dr. Osman Yılmaz, for his contribution to raising awareness about healthy nutrition among students and academicians.
