Message from Rector Dalgar on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar published a message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day.

“Sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation.”

We celebrate the 105th anniversary of the opening of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with great pride and enthusiasm.

This meaningful day, gifted to children with the foresight of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, is one of the strongest symbols of our national sovereignty consciousness. This holiday is not just a remembrance; it is also an expression of the belief and responsibility we have towards the children to whom we entrust our future.

Our children are the carriers of the ideas, values, and transformation that will shape the world of tomorrow. We are working with all our might to ensure that they become individuals who think freely, are equipped with science, and are raised with the ideals of humanity.

I sincerely celebrate the holiday of all our children and wish that the sparkle in those pure eyes, which renews our hope for the future every day, never fades.
