Full-day summer sports school for children from MAKÜ Sports Academy

Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) Sports Academy has launched the 'Full Day Sports School' program for children aged 5-12 who want to spend their summer vacation productively and enjoyably. Registrations for the program, which will start on June 23, 2025, are ongoing.

The program, which will be held five days a week from 09:00 to 17:00, offers rich content aimed at supporting children's physical, mental, and social development. Thanks to the activities prepared by academicians, children will have the opportunity to spend an educational and fun summer period intertwined with sports.

Within the scope of the program, transportation support is provided for children; lunch and afternoon snack services are offered.

Extensive event schedule

The program includes sports branches such as basketball, swimming, volleyball, tennis, athletics, and gymnastics, as well as English, chess, theater, cinema, and mind games; aiming for the multifaceted development of children. While academic support is provided with study hours, it is also aimed to instill a reading habit with reading hours.

Nature-based learning approach

Another striking aspect of the Summer Sports School is that it offers a learning environment intertwined with nature. With the planned walking, excursion, and observation activities within the program, it is aimed to instill environmental awareness in children.
