The award given on behalf of MAKÜ was presented to Prof. Dr. Emrah Atay by the General Director of Sports of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır.

Sports-friendly campus, international vision

MAKÜ, with the understanding of 'Sports-Friendly Campus', sees sports not only as a field of competition but also as a life culture that supports the development of students. The university contributes to the strengthening of young people physically, socially, and culturally by ensuring that sports are accessible in every branch throughout the campus.

This approach, combined with MAKÜ's internationalization policy, makes the university visible in the global sports arena. Organizations that bring together athletes from different countries under the same roof both increase cultural interaction and strengthen MAKÜ's international recognition.

Sustainable sports culture and investment in youth

MAKÜ considers this award not only as an organizational success but also as an indicator of a sustainable sports culture, international cooperation, and investment in youth vision. The university administration emphasizes that such successes will be an inspiration for future national and international sports events.
