Performance test for Alanyaspor players at MAKÜ Sports Sciences

The Corendon Alanyaspor players, who are continuing their preparations for the new season at the sports facilities of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), underwent comprehensive performance tests at the MAKÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences.

As part of the camp program, the players, who are working in two groups, had isokinetic strength tests applied to the athletes in the second group by the Sport R&D team under the supervision of Athletic Performance Coach Ali Can Sümbül in the laboratories of the MAKÜ Faculty of Sports Sciences.

With the tests conducted, the players' lower extremity strength levels, strength asymmetry between the legs, and potential injury risks were analyzed using scientific methods. It was stated that the data obtained would be used in training plans aimed at improving the individual performances of the players and reducing injury risks.

On the other hand, in the team's first field training of the day, endurance and tactical exercises were carried out. Corendon Alanyaspor will continue its preparations in the Burdur camp with an evening training session.
