Visit from Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Yumaklı to Rector Dalgar

During the visit following the award ceremony, Minister Yumaklı was accompanied by Deputy Minister Ahmet Gümen and Burdur Members of Parliament Prof. Dr. Adem Korkmaz and Mustafa Oğuz. In the meeting held at the rectorate building, the scientific studies conducted by the university, especially in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and rural development, were discussed.

In the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar provided Minister Yumaklı with information about the projects developed by the university in recent years aimed at agriculture and livestock, research centers, and activities focused on regional development. During the visit, where studies contributing to the training of qualified human resources in the agricultural sector were also evaluated, ideas were exchanged to strengthen university-ministry cooperation.

Minister İbrahim Yumaklı stated that they closely follow the projects carried out by the university and expressed that scientific research in the fields of agriculture and livestock significantly contributes to Turkey's production capacity.

At the end of the visit, Minister Yumaklı wrote his feelings and thoughts in the guestbook located in the rectorate office, expressing his gratitude. Minister Yumaklı emphasized his belief that the university's visionary work will add value to the country's agriculture.
