The Inter-University Wrestling Turkey Championship, organized under the hosting of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, concluded after five days of intense competitions. The event, which saw the participation of 606 athletes from 63 universities, was a scene of great excitement.
Held between March 28 and April 1 at MAKÜ Sports Facilities, the tournament where female and male athletes competed fiercely, athletes competed in freestyle and Greco-Roman style categories throughout the championship and raced to achieve rankings in the team standings, providing spectators with thrilling moments. The determination and performance of the athletes were noteworthy, and the final matches attracted great interest.
After the competitions that continued for five days, the athletes and teams that achieved rankings were awarded with trophies and medals in a ceremony.
On the last day of the tournament, in the team standings, Siirt University became the champion among men, while Karamanoğlu Mehmetbey University took second place, and Bartın University secured third place.
ÜNİLİG Yeşilay Wrestling Turkey Championship concluded with the performances and sportsmanship displayed by the athletes, and the organization received great appreciation from participants and spectators.
