With the instructions of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, within the scope of the 'İŞKUR Youth Program' implemented for university students, a cooperation protocol was signed between Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ) and Burdur İŞKUR Provincial Directorate.

This year, the program, which is being held for the second time, allows university students to get to know the business world simultaneously with their education processes and gain significant experience.

New opportunities for 1055 MAKÜ students

Within the framework of the protocol, 1055 MAKÜ students will take on roles in different units within the university. Students will have the opportunity to both continue their education and get acquainted with the business world. Thus, young people will have the chance to closely observe the dynamics of professional life before graduation.

“A great gain for our students”

Speaking after the signing ceremony, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Gürsoy stated that the program announced by President Erdoğan is an important step for young people. Gürsoy said:

“The 'İŞKUR Youth Program' announced by our President Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will reach a much wider audience with the increase in student capacity. As MAKÜ, we quickly signed our protocol with İŞKUR to offer this opportunity to our students. 1055 students from our university will take on roles in different units, both continuing their education and gaining work experience. We believe that this project will make a significant contribution to our students' career journeys.”

A valuable experience area for young people

The Youth Program conducted by İŞKUR aims for university students to step into the labor market in a more equipped manner. Students gain practical skills by working in short-term jobs within their universities or in certain sectors.

This project, implemented in cooperation with MAKÜ and Burdur İŞKUR, will contribute to both the personal and professional development of students and the strengthening of the local business world.
