Throughout the festival, participants from different cities in Turkey received information about various scientific projects at the booths set up and also participated in experiments and hands-on activities. In the workshops conducted as part of the program, presentations were made on many different topics ranging from space sciences to environmental research, and from technology to natural sciences.

In his speech at the festival's opening, Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar, the Rector of Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University, stated that the Salda Science Center established within the university will make significant contributions to scientific activities in the region. Rector Dalgar expressed that the center will be a working and production area for students, young researchers, and academics, and said that the events to be held as part of the festival will provide participants with a science-filled day.

Volkan Güler, the Secretary General of the Western Mediterranean Development Agency, emphasized that Salda Lake is starting to stand out not only for its natural beauty but also for its scientific value. Güler pointed out the great importance of transferring the scientific potential of the region to future generations and stated that actions should be taken with a sustainability approach. He noted that one of the main goals is to preserve Salda and pass it on to future generations.
