In 2025, Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University (MAKÜ), which showcased its international organizational success by hosting the European Universities Table Tennis Championship in Burdur, has now reached for an award in Europe with its corporate identity.
At the award ceremony held in Salerno, Italy, as part of the EUSA Forum 2026 organized by EUSA (European University Sports Association), the organizational logo prepared for the championship was honored with the "Best Logotype Award".
Last year, the logo that achieved first place by receiving the most votes among university sports organizations in Europe in the international public voting organized by EUSA has now also received its official award.
The award on behalf of MAKÜ was received by Rector Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Dalgar and Dr. Lecturer Mert Nalbant, the Chairman of the European Universities Table Tennis Championship Organizing Committee.
The award given at the ceremony attended by university representatives from many European countries, national university sports federations, and sports managers also certified MAKÜ's competence in corporate identity and brand management, in addition to its success in international sports organizations.
The European Universities Table Tennis Championship held in Burdur in 2025 received full marks from the European university sports community for its organizational quality, high international participation, and professional organizational structure. The logo designed for the championship won the title of "Best Logo Design" by surpassing all university championship logos across Europe in the public voting conducted by EUSA.
With the official award ceremony held in Salerno, MAKÜ once again crowned its organizational success on an international level, and this award has been recorded as an important indicator of the university's increasing brand value on a global scale and its strong vision in sports organizations.
